Ri Ri the Fashion Icon

Hello fashion babes,

So Rihanna was honored as the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) icon of the year award. Her style is fun and bold, she always knows how to turn heads. Just Like Closet Freak! Today's post though will be on how Rihanna's looks gave us style inspiration. Let us reflect on how many times she had us turning our heads....

Rihanna killed this designer gown by Alexandre Vauthier for the Grammy Pre Party in January 2014. Yellow Satin gown with deep necklines and a slit are just fashion worthy. The fact she pulled it off so well just makes this memorable.

Rihanna's street style is always before the trend sets in and this picture taken from last year explains why she is amazing at dressing it up and down. Worded tees with Bape army cargos is a good look and she was working this look. One her many amazing street styles.

Rihanna killed the streets of Paris in this Coco Chanel velour jumpsuit paired with a snakeskin clutch and louboutin heels. She done this look right with her blonde hairstyle because she stood out in the crowd and made a true appearance while attending the Chanel Party.

We all know this gown is a recent look from the Met Gala 2014 in New York City. A backless gown with a gorgeous tail. The cut was flattering and the front being cropped to show the amazing abs, was just a fashion praise when she debuted. Making her look to be one of the best when people discussed the Gala. Stella McCartney designed all of the best looks but this was one of the best.

This gown Rihanna wore when she was honored as CFDA Fashion Icon of the Year had to be her most discussed looks bceause with 230,000 Swarovski crystals she still bared all in the name of fashion. Designer, Adam Selman said, "I designed this for the art of fashion." Fashion or art this dress was something we still can't believe she worn. Which is why she is named the Fashion Icon of the Year because she does it in the name of fashion and because she basically can.
