Beauty "Uh-Oh's" are a No-No

How you present yourself is so important. Especially if you are looking to make it far in this world! However, once in a while we have those moments that maybe we over-did a look, or had a little eye-shadow/lipstick/hair mishap. Don't feel bad, celebrities do it too sometimes. Here are some tips to make sure you don't have yourself saying "uh-oh" AFTER the fact.

Concealer shouldn't make you look like Casper the Ghost.

"The Fix: It’s quite easy to pick up too much powder, so gently tap your brush on the side of the container to remove any excess from the bristles, leaving just enough to do the job it's supposed to do. And throw out that old rule about choosing concealer that is lighter than your skin tone — you want that cover-up to match your skin, not create a too-pale mask around your eyes."

Your smile should be shining, not your skin.

"The Fix: A light dusting of loose translucent powder across your T-zone, cheeks, and chin will set your foundation with a matte finish, and keep oil at bay throughout the day. Or, keep blotting papers in your purse to discreetly remove excess sebum at a moment's notice."

Look Chic, not crazy.

"The Fix: With bold beauty looks, remember this cardinal cosmetic rule: If your eyes are smoky and dramatic, a subdued lip is its best complement, and vice versa. When rocking racy red lips, a few coats of lengthening mascara are all you need."
