Mariah Carey Links with OPI...This is a 'Fantasy.'

Posted by Alyssa Franco-Lozada on

We are obsessed with the fact that OPI is collaborating with Mariah Carey on a limited-edition set. Singer of high notes, and a lady with curves, Mimi is once again doing big things. We just can't wait to see what her collection will be all about. Glitter? Butterflies? 3-D Rainbows? The possibilities are endless. All we know is once this collection hits shelves in January, it will be one sweet day.

  • , here are my suggestions for inilsucon by category:ROCKCheap Trick Hardest working band in rock. Never broke up and aside from a few misses, still a relevant band. Also, more influential than you might realize at first. Preeminent power pop band. The ClashThe RamonesPOPABBA Seriously. No one has crafted more perfect pop confections. “Dancing Queen” proves that melody is mightier than the lyrics. Sorry.COUNTRYHank WilliamsWillie NelsonPatsy ClineNote “Contemporary Country” is but a dim shadow of the real, gritty, rootsy, whiskey & tear soaked Saturday night and “Hallelujah” it’s Sunday morning classic stuff put out by the above 3 plus Johnny, but you’ve already got him covered.ALTERNATIVEThe CureThe SmithsWell, there you go. Please take my comments in the fun spirit they are offered. Cheers guys and good on ya for some fine episodes. It would be fun to see this exercise maybe expose you guys to some stuff you haven’t listened to much before and hear your reactions. Regardless, of course, have fun with it. And by the way, if for some reason, lines end up being drawn over The Beatles, I’m firmly in the pro-Beatles camp. Kookookachoo on that.
