Where to Eat In LA

Hey Closet Freaks! So as the Closet Freak blogger I love to keep ya'll up to date on what's going on in ALL aspects of this crazy world, fashion or not.

If you live in the gorgeous Los Angeles area like me, you may have your own little hangout spots throughout town. I've lived here for only a few months now and still haven't discovered everything this beautiful city has to offer me! However one thing I have done a lot of is eating! I love food! So I'm here to share some hot restaurants throughout the LA area, and offer outfit ideas on what you would wear there. So enjoy, and go get your grub on!!

We've got to hand it to this summer-camp-themed resto, it totally hit the nail on the head with its communal tables, exposed wood, and cozy fire pits. But, you better believe Executive Chef Keith Silverton's locally-grown and organic fare is world's better than your average cafeteria food! Come with your girlfriends for the kale salad and steak tartare tacos in this season's hottest hue, oxblood. Then, feel free to take your drink out on the patio, your moto jacket will keep you warm if that artisanal cocktail doesn't do the trick!
Messhall Kitchen, 4500 Los Feliz Boulevard (at Hillhurst Avenue); 323-660-6377.

If your idea of a perfect day is spending an afternoon scoping art and reading up on the latest and greatest painters, illustrators, and photographers, we've got the ideal itinerary for you! Head on over to The Hammer in a crafty getup to take in the museum's recent graphic-design exhibit (you skirt will match perfectly!). Don't forget to grab a sammie and some fries in Ammo's new courtyard cafe before making your way to the 50-piece Gustave Moreau exhibition, you'll need the energy!
Ammo, 10899 Wilshire Boulevard (at Westwood Boulevard); 310-443-7000.

Where's there's smoke, there's fire — so get ready to look hot at this new West Hollywood must-hit steakhouse. While an LBD is standard date-night attire, we're all about dousing the demure dress with unexpected add-ons like florals and fancy footwear. Add a bold red lip and we promise you'll have your date hanging on your every word!
Smoke, 9010 Melrose Avenue (near North Almont Drive); 310-385-2222.
